Enhance your maths lessons using the four interactive tools available at iMaths Online: Number Line, Hundred Board, Clock and Spinner. The Tools are available in the menu bar at iMaths Online and at the student site.

Number Line

Use the Number Line to add and subtract a range of intervals as either fractions or decimals.

Tip: Teach negative numbers with the Number Line. Start at zero and jump backwards and forwards by 2s, 5s and 10s.

Hundred Board

Use the Hundred Board to teach your students place value, number patterns, skip counting, prime numbers, addition, subtraction and so much more.

Tip: Play Roll to 100 with the Hundred Board. Roll a pair of 10-sided dice (0–9), then join the numbers together to make a one- or two-digit number. Use the highlight function to ‘cross’ them off the board until you reach 100.

Clock

Move the hands of the Clock to show 12-hour, 24-hour, analog and digital time.

Tip: Check students’ understanding of time by having them display selected times using the Clock.

Spinner

Use the Spinner to teach probability, customising the number of segments and segment features (colours, letters and numbers) to suit your lesson.

Tip: Play Heads or Tails with the Spinner. Customise the segments for a 50-50 chance and have students call heads (red segment) or tails (green segment) on a spin. If the spinner lands on red (heads), all students who called tails (green) are out. The game continues until there’s only one player left.
