Competition Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to the competition advertised at www.fireflyeducation.com.au/form/testimonial-competition.

  1. This competition is being administered by Firefly Education, PO Box 634, Buderim, Queensland 4556 (ABN 56 162 375 420).
  2. Entry opens on 2 May 2024 and closes on 15 July 2024.
  3. All entries must be submitted by completing an entry form at www.fireflyeducation.com.au/form/testimonial-competition or emailing marketing@fireflyeducation.com.au. Firefly Education accepts no responsibility for entries that are not received.
  4. Entry is open only to persons employed by Australian schools.
  5. Entrants must be 18 years or older.
  6. The prize is a Firefly Education gift voucher valued at $1000. It is not redeemable for cash.
  7. The winner will be selected by Firefly Education and judging will be based on creative merit and successful integration of Firefly Education resources in pedagogical practice.
  8. To be eligible to win, the entrant must submit their classroom success story of a student, or students, using at least one Firefly Education resource. Submissions can be in the form of an anecdote, image, video, data, or a combination of media. They must also provide their school details upon request. The entry that most appeals to the Firefly Education judging panel will be chosen as the winner, provided that all other competition terms and conditions are met.
  9. Entrants may submit more than one program as seperate entries.
  10. The winner will be contacted on 18 July 2024 via email. Firefly Education accepts no responsibility if the contact details were provided incorrectly and the winner could therefore not be contacted.
  11. The winner and school name will be announced on Firefly Education’s social media pages, as well as in Firefly Education newsletters. Entry into this competition is deemed an agreement to have these details published.
  12. Firefly Education does not require entrants to identify any students in order to enter the competition.
  13. Any entries (even non-winning entries) may be shared and republished on Firefly Education’s social media platforms, or in marketing campaigns. Entry into this competition is deemed an agreement to allow Firefly Education to use the text, photographs or videos submitted. Firefly Education will contact the entrant and confirm if any student information needs to be anonymised before publishing.
  14. It is the entrant’s responsibility to ensure that any entry they submit complies with their school’s privacy policy. By entering photographs or video of students, it is deemed that the entrant has obtained appropriate permission from parents or guardians for any republication of such media. The entrant will be held responsible for any grievances.
  15. If less than five entries are submitted, Firefly Education reserves the right to cancel the competition.
  16. There is no entry fee and no purchase requirement for this competition. Entrants are responsible for any costs associated with entering this competition, such as costs associated with accessing the internet.
  17. Employees of Firefly Education and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
  18. Personal information provided in entering this competition will be treated in accordance with Firefly Education’s Privacy Policy.
  19. These terms and conditions are governed by Australian law. Any grievance or dispute is subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Australian courts.
  20. Entrants may be contacted by a Firefly Education representative to discuss Firefly Education products.
  21. Entry into the competition is deemed an acceptance of all terms and conditions.
