This free virtual workshop will introduce you to BitMaths, a new digital maths resource for Years 7 and 8. In this introductory workshop, we will work with you to:
- unpack the unique teaching and learning resources in BitMaths
- demonstrate effective problem-solving and reasoning instruction
- see how the BitMaths Reasoning Wizard will help improve your students’ reasoning skills through scaffolded learning
- discuss the benefits of a digital platform including differentiation, automatic marking, real-time activity tracking, data collation and other classroom management tools.
This workshop runs for about one hour. Upon completion you and the students in your class will be provided with free full access to BitMaths for the rest of the 2022. You’ll also receive a PD certificate of participation.
