This free virtual workshop will introduce you to the new Sound Waves Decodable Readers and demonstrate how they can be used to deliver effective, systematic reading practice for beginning readers.
In this introductory workshop, we will work with you to:
- understand how students learn to read
- explore the unique features of Sound Waves Decodable Readers
- discuss different classroom approaches to early reading instruction
- learn how Sound Waves Reading and Sound Waves Spelling follow the same systematic teaching sequence, which makes for cohesive and effective weekly reading and spelling lessons.
This workshop runs for about one hour, and you’ll receive a PD certificate of participation.
